As A God To Pharaoh
In order for Moses to be taken seriously by the Pharaoh, Moses had to appear as a god to Pharaoh. A Prophet is a mouthpiece for a god, a go-between, bringing the message to the people.
God is Mightier Than the Waves
Psalm 93:4 says “Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea. The Lord on high is mighty.”
When Will These Things Be?
We should not be concerned with knowing the exact time, we should be more concerned with being prepared.
Under The Blood
As we go through our current struggles, remember how God has delivered His people. Remember how he delivered each of us in the past.
Humble Yourselves
Don’t sit around doing nothing in your time of trouble, seek God and He will hear your cry, humble yourself before Him and receive His peace.
God Is Just
For myself, knowing that God is just is a very reassuring bit of knowledge. I can fully expect Him to be fair and impartial in His assessment and judgment of my life and motivations.
How Focused Are You?
If we keep our eyes focused on the Lord we can do amazing things through him. Always remember it is God‘s ministry, it is God’s amazing Acts that are done through jars of clay.
The Unanswered Question
The theology of Job and his contemporaries in the book begins with the understanding of the retribution principle as a complete theology of God’s motives towards mankind. As the book progresses, Job’s understanding of God’s motives is changed as he suffers through the pain and agony of incredible loss.
