Have you ever gone through a long quiet time when you thought God had forgotten you?

I admit to a certain perverse delight when someone gets what’s coming to him. Oh, I know I shouldn’t but sometimes it happens. Maybe to you too.

As I look at this verse, and I ponder the evil deeds I’ve done in my life, I I shrink back and fret. Then I remember that there was a day when the ‘god man’ suffered and died in my place, and fulfilled a new covenant.

If I went back knowing what I know now I would probably use that to do more bad things and get into much more trouble.

I’m aware the bad news sells bed behavior sells, unkind words sell. I read Facebook posts that are hurtful, and then I scratch my head at the cover photo of this page that says, “In a world where you could be anything being kind”.
