He was to make it his number one ambition to obtain God’s approval. Men pleasers (and I can sadly be one I fear) like the interest in side tracks. But our task is to teach what God wants taught.The next step in that is to teach so you or I will not be ashamed of the work we do for and in Christ. And what is the way to do that?
Stick to the truth you have. BE accurate in handling truth, prayerfully ask God for the sense of the passage and be sure to present that truth, the truth is,at base the gospel. Present that gospel without perverting it or distorting it. Do not be turned aside by disputes about words or by empty babble.
Remember the God’s foundation is sure, stand on it.
