My Next Steps in the Chaplain Ministry

By Randy Rogers

I plan to continue to study different aspects of the Chaplain Ministry to help me to grow so I can better assist all who are in need. Currently, my ministry is involved in helping teach Bible study two nights and also helping with a church service on Sunday nights by preaching or having someone else bring a message. I hope to expand this ministry as a Chaplain because I feel it will give me the opportunity to reach out to some groups that may need some spiritual guidance and are not going to ask a church for help.

In the ministry I currently am in we are trying to reach those that nobody else wants and that are not comfortable being in a church. I believe as a Chaplain we should be operating more outside the walls of a church rather than in a building. I also believe in the biker world the ones that need to be reached most of all usually have to be reached on their own territory. As a Chaplain, I hope to be able to be someone who has the opportunity to reach some of these people.

In the word of God it says, “it is His will that all be saved and none lost.” We reach them one person at a time usually and it is my desire to be able to reach as many of them as I can.  As a Chaplain, I fully believe this will help open some doors for our ministry that we might not have been able to open. I look forward to being able to assist in areas of the Chaplains ministry that I can, even in assisting other Chaplains in times of need.
