Greetings in the name of of our Lord Christ Jesus. I started a trip into the unknown this Labor Day weekend. I packed up my bike and headed out with my brother Taz to Missouri. 700 miles one way trusting my God and Saviour for safe passage. 2 bikes 2 Chaplains on the road.
We had a couple of test on the way, Taz’s starter switch stopped working at a gas station first day on the road. We figured it out got back to riding, we hit a slick spot in the road Taz went down but was not hurt Praise God ! Watching it terrified me but God was solid and kept him from harm.
Friday afternoon we were met on location with hot coffee and cookies best coffee ever btw. Love and fellowship felt right at home.
The book of mark 4:35-41
35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
No matter what kind of storm you are in , no matter how you perceive it God is in control. Where ever God sends us to duty that’s where we go.
Isaiah 6:8 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
God changes hearts and minds , I’ve seen it God prepares men and women for what is to come. We had a couple of awesome days with men of God. Everyone made it there safe , then there was the trip home. Uneventful safe ride stormy weather was done for the most part.
Beautiful weather on Monday morning, brothers trust God in all situations not just the ones you think you can work out. He is the Master plan maker , builder , chain breaker , way maker , prison shaker , he is the North Star never moving never changes never shaken. God is the God of the ages Always been Always will be trust in Him brothers it about him not us.
