Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
As we look at the superiority of God’s final revelation notice that he si called “The brightness of God’s glory.”

The term here expresses the idea of sending forth light or shining out. Jesus was no mere refection of God, but the very radiance of God.

The moon is really beautiful as it shines out at nights isn’t it? But the mont is only reflecting right form the sun. But if you look at the sun (and I recommend you do not) you will see not a reflected light but the powerful fulness of light. That is the idea here is that God’s final revelation expresses the Glory of God completely.

In Matthew 5:14-16 J That very light of the world says to his followers “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Once we were darkness but now we are to be light as we reflect his great light to the world. Note that we are to reflect the GLORY of God, our reflection as we live lives of love shines his light in the dark.

When light enters darkness truth happens . Dad Epps shore patrol.

So if they cringe when you flip that switch, rejoice and be glad. It si only the light hurting their eyes and exposing the darkness.
You ponder that.
