What Is Sin?

What is Sin ? It’s a word that we all use to describe what we feel like is wrong. We act against God’s laws is you’re smoking wrong ? Is drinking wrong, cursing driving too fast?
We were given laws set up, there were 10 of these laws set up by God to guide and direct and tell us where we are.This is what Sin looks like.

Then people come up with all sorts of things that they think it is. The word sin is missing the mark a standard that God set up laws or rules if want to call it that to govern us.

Old Testament stuff, good stuff , where there is no law there is no transgressions. The law was to show us where we were doing wrong ,awesome!! James 2:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. That’s tough.

Now what is Grace and what does that look like ? Have you ever had someone give you a gift for no reason at all ? This is what grace looks like. We all know John 3:16 , John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Why would God do such a thing for a bunch of deplorable people ? Because he loves us with a love that can’t be measured. He is a God of love , anger , judgement and a numerous other emotions.

He wants relationship with us , not so hard do do right ? Freedom from condemnation, able to live in Christ Jesus without fear. Repentance and God changing your heart. Living forever with him is a no lose situation. Relationship eternally with your creator, Right On !!

Salvation cost you nothing but cost the life of Gods son. He now is the risen Savior and the lover of our souls. Imagine someone paying all your debts off and you can’t pay them back.

Grace , Grace the cure for all our depression, stress , fear all of the stuff that sin causes corruption of the soul.

So give it all to Jesus
