Be Of Good Cheer

Grace and peace to you brothers and sisters. I hope it’s all good with y’all today, we serve a God that is bigger than all this mess going on right now.

Philippians 4:7 tells us

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

How is your faith holding up this morning? Are you fearful or trusting in the Lord? This is a time to fill your lamps with oil and stand your ground.

The devil would have you fearing and lacking faith, worrying about tomorrow.

Matthew 6:25-34 tells us

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? …

The times will be bad, Jesus said it would be. When I was a child they said we were running out of oil and gas . Waiting in line for 5 gallons. We still have gas hmmmmmm.

Nixon being impeached for erasing 30 seconds of recorded phone calls.
We are going to see trouble, in fact, Jesus said so.

Matthew 24:3-13

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

So be of good cheer, God is still in control and Jesus is your risen savior.
Give praise and honor to The King of Glory, Love your neighbor as you love God.
