“Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
Matthew 24:3
The disciples asked Jesus when would He return and what signs should they look for? Jesus described all manner of things that would take place before the end of the age; many will come to try and deceive the people, wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes…etc., etc. we cannot know the exact time that Christ will return. We should not be concerned with knowing the exact time, we should be more concerned with being prepared. How do we prepare? By living God’s way consistently, so no matter when Jesus returns, we will be ready. Is there anything we can do to give ourselves hope in The coming days? Choose to follow Christ! Before the Great Tribulations begin, Jesus will return to remove His church from the earth, so they will not suffer through the Tribulations. If you’ve been watching the news, it seems as if the final days are close. Don’t be anxious. If you are watching current events with spiritual eyes, you will understand that things are not falling apart, but are falling into place. See the signs of the times, but don’t be anxious nor deceived, look to Christ! Those who turn their backs and refuse Christ will be left behind to experience the terrors to come. Choose NOW, who you will serve!
Thank you Father for having a plan for us. Help us to look upward to Christ, instead of the deception surrounding us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
