Next Steps

Hello, Brother and Sisters in Christ – as I complete this very informative and edifying study, the more I am reminded of “The language of the heart” that Jesus himself used.

Although there were not many titled institutions, if you look closer at who he really is, you can witness to the fact that he was in cases a first responder-and an on sight Chaplin and Peacemaker, etc. But the things he did, and the belief for me to be like him, is to carry any all Edifying Language or physical presence into any encounter, I’m going to have-outside my home, which brings me at this point, ministry in my life has to begin at home first.

As I try to practice more of it, my prayer time is to remind myself Jesus above all and to establish a clearer path to him. I firmly believe also that we live in a world of observation where people will watch you more than you know, and see if you are really walking the language you speak or are you just performing?

We live in a world where religion and politics often clash…ahh but what’s my part? As I continue my daily or minute by minute walk with the Lord I know my part of the world equation is to try to follow, and lead people into a relationship with Jesus with loving and caring words, not rules and regulations. There is such a calling for edifying hearing as well to be able to sit with someone and just listen to them without interference is huge, especially when I sit with a soldier who was in a war he doesn’t understand. In the lifestyle God rescued me from, you know bikers and territory and issues, etc.,  I also have to bring the same edifying heart language as well.

Ok, as I close and pray, I know for me at any given moment God is going to call me out to a place of his desire, and sometimes it is not a place in my comfort zone. So I believe, after taking this study, you really have to understand the language that Paul was teaching. Some will be called to different ministries or callings so to speak. For me, I believe that if I keep my ego in check the Lord will prepare me for his destination, not mine.  It could be at the scene of a biker accident, an accident in general, or a hospital visit, jail, church, restaurant, or wherever. My only concern is to show the love and comfort of Jesus Christ. I am not in a position to judge anyone or anything. My choice is to give myself and others a GPS system that leads directly to the lord.  I also believe that the only thing that should be separated by color is my laundry.

The key to life is encouragement, whether you see a child strike out at a little league game or an addict seeking recovery, or graveside praying with an unexpected loss. I also highly believe when counseling is called for that if it’s a woman send a woman, or have one with you when you go. There is so much more my heart wants to type, but that is what happens to me when I can’t get enough of Jesus. His love for me and others is unlimited.

Thank you for this amazing and enlightening course, and for bringing me more into the presence of my Lord whom I will serve and hope to lead others to the path of our true home.

Yours truly, David (crazy dave)  Murphy
